The Challenge

Three hospital departments were each running their own systems for patient records, scheduling and billing — none of which talked to each other. Staff were re-entering the same patient information multiple times a day, and small inconsistencies between systems were creating real risk around scheduling conflicts and billing errors.

Our Approach

We designed and built a single patient-record platform that all three departments now share, with role-based access so each team sees exactly what's relevant to their work — clinical staff, front-desk scheduling, and billing all draw from the same underlying record instead of three separate ones. Rollout was staged department by department to keep disruption to ongoing patient care to a minimum.

The Results

With one shared source of truth instead of three disconnected systems, administrative workload across the three departments dropped by a third within the first quarter after launch — time that staff could redirect back to patient care.
